back to school

Today is the big day where kids all over go back to school. I was just thinking last night that this is the first year since I started kindergarten in 1983 that I won't be going back to school myself for either my own educational endeavors or for work. It's a little bit strange. Of course, my friends and colleagues at Terra Linda Elementary have been back to school for weeks due to the year-round nature of their calendar. While I'm not quite sure I can say that I miss school yet, I do miss the great people I worked with in my six years there. I miss the fun and the lunches and the laughs and the parties and the peanut m&ms but most especially the people. Here's to a great year for all of you at Terra Linda!
