We must be careful lest the queen bee be ousted from her throne. Actually, she has been wonderful with the recent addition to the family. I hope it continues, because it is really quite sweet. She has been busy, however. She made another visit to
FAO Schwarz with her dad and grandpa after visiting the baby and me in the hospital. Here she is dancing on the piano. She also visited the outrageously expensive dress-up area where she ran around saying things like "I wonder if this is my size," and "I hope they have shoes that go with this dress." She can't possibly have learned this from me, right?!

We've been meaning to make it to the
Little Red Lighthouse which is right under the bridge near our apartment since we moved here, but we hadn't had much luck. Finally, Sarah went with dad and grandpa on Saturday for the Little Red Lighthouse Festival. They waited in line forever and got to climb up inside and onto the top for a lovely view of the Hudson River, New Jersey, and upper Manhattan. There's a cute children's picture book based on the lighthouse and the bridge called the
The Little Red Lighthouse and the Great Gray Bridge by Hildegarde H. Swift. Sarah thinks the fog from the storm in the story is a monster. She's also got the sound effects from the story down. Apparently, she took the second photo after which she exclaimed, "That is a great picture."

She also started going one day a week to a little preschool type thing at a friend's house. It is called Book Buddies, and she quite enjoys it. This is her first day of school. Daddy takes her in the morning, and I pick her up. It's down near Columbia's campus, so we're hoping she'll just transition straight from Book Buddies to Columbia and skip public school altogether. We might even get tuition breaks.

I love the dress up and piano pictures. Rachel misses Sarah. We can't wait to see you guys at Christmas time and meet Zach in person.
