Well, many of you may know that Sarah seems to be fearless which translates into her having the time of her life here in New York. Most of the parks here have a water feature which has been wonderful for the hot, humid summer days. Some friends have one right across the street from their apartment. While playing there this week, Sarah went to enjoy the water in her dress as they didn't have a swimming suit her size. They figured she would get a few sprinkles and be happy. Oh no, not Sarah! Part child, part fish, I arrived to find her drenched from head to toe and ecstatic!

She loves animals, especially dogs, and asks everyone we see with a dog if she can pet their dog. Only two people have said no, and others have been surprisingly nice to let her. Here she is pictured riding a stuffed dog at the Toys R Us flagship store in Times Square. Her only complaint was that he kept falling over. The other night before bed she said to me with a big sigh, "I wish I could have a dog or a cat." I've got to hold strong to the no pets EVER policy even if that does make me a mean mom.

If I had my way we would have a dog right now, but Laura says that we can't just leave one home alone. I said when she gets a kid, I get a dog, and she can watch them both
I don't know how she puts up with you...perhaps the same way I put up with your brother!
Sara looks mischievious in this pic. I think a no pet policy is good especially in NY.
