I have always liked Costco, but now, I must confess, I love it! I went into New Jersey with a friend to do our Costco shopping yesterday, and it was wonderful! The familiar brands, familiar products, familiar prizes, and familiar sizes were glorious. People always say they can't get out the door without spending at least $100. I had gotten pretty good in Salt Lake at escaping the store without spending that much. Of course, I was going like once a week. I must admit that when I shop there for groceries for the next month the total ends up being significantly more than $100. Let's just say it took David several trips in from the van to move all the loot. There were also only one or two impulse buys-quite a feat for me at Costco. The fridge is full. The freezer is packed. Maybe now I can have a baby and not worry about starving to death.

Shoot, you're lucky if it's the 100 dollar store. For us it's the 200 dollar store, and with a baby in diapers...well, it's more than that. Alan and I both have our impulse purchases, so that tacks an extra 40 bucks on usually. Maybe if I went shopping by myself we'd do better in that department.

How'd your appointment go today?

I think that Costco is good for the soul. How can buying in bulk be BAD for you????

Also, no one can comment because it's locking out anyone that doesn't have a password to blogger. Call and we'll help you fix it or I'm sure Dave can figure it out.
