a garden-less moment

I have had a hankering for Chocolate Chocolate Chip Zucchini Muffins for well over a week now and just couldn't wait a moment longer. So...I went to the store (yes, the store, sad but true) to buy a zucchini. I stood there in the produce aisle and wished for a zucchini from my very own garden in the backyard. But, alas, it was not to be, so I paid 86 cents for a zucchini and came home to make the muffins. Back there in Utah I could have had any one of probably a dozen or more zucchini for the taking. Of course, I would have probably had to make fourteen more zucchini dishes or pawned the other zucchinis off on unsuspecting friends and family who are likely overwhelmed with their own zucchini harvests. I'm missing the Vawdrey farm (I mean, garden) in the backyard and even the composter just a little bit today. So, all of you gardeners out there in Utah, go out and have some free zucchini tonight right out of your gardens and think of me purchasing zucchini here in the city like a sucker!
